Installation Instructions

Singular Combi Boiler - BTC 439003301 B (2021/07)

3.3.5     Clearances

The boiler should be installed in an area that allows for service and maintenance 
access to utility connections, piping, fi lters, and traps. Ensure the following 
clearances are maintained:

Do not install the boiler on carpeting.

3.3.6     Clean, Debris and Chemical-Free Combustion Air

 

Do not install the boiler in areas where dust and debris may accumulate or 
where combustion air can be contaminated.

 

Do not install the boiler in areas with greasy fumes or heavy amounts of 
steam, if necessary, take measures to prevent fumes and steam from 
entering the boiler.

 

Chemicals that are corrosive in nature should not be stored or used near 
the boiler.

3.3.7     Position

    

WARNING: FIRE, EXPLOSION, PROPERTY DAMAGE

 

Do not mount the boiler to dry wall that has not been 
reinforced.

The boiler can be mounted to the wall. For easy installation, use the mounting 
bracket to mount the boiler to standard wall studs. If the strength of the wall is 
insuffi  cient and or if the framing is non-standard or uneven, reinforce the area 
before installation. Avoid installation in unstable locations as the boiler will make 
some operational noises while it is running.

 

    Consider vent length and surrounding circumstances when mounting the 

boiler.
