Transport and storage
Bosch Rexroth AG
, MOBILEX GFB 8000 series 40 general operating instructions, RE 79039-01-B/01.2021
Carefully attach the planetary gearbox with approved lifting equipment, such as
chains and shackles adapted to weight and suitable ropes (see illustration on
the left) to the crane hook or transport the planetary gearbox in a suitable
transport frame using a suitable forklift.
Choose the chain or cable length such that the attachment angle remains
smaller than 90°.
Please ensure that the mounting parts attached depending on the gearbox
design cannot be damaged by transport elements when the planetary gearbox
is lifted.
Set the planetary gearbox down vertically on the output pinion or place it
horizontally on a flat, stable ground.
–
When setting down the planetary gearbox vertically, use suitable measures to
protect the gearbox from tipping over. Use e.g. a suitable wooden frame.
–
When setting down the planetary gearbox horizontally, use suitable measures
to protect the gearbox from rolling away. Use e.g. wedges or scantlings (see
adjacent sketches).
