6.1
Cleaning
6.1.1
KTS 350
Only use a soft cloth and neutral detergents to clean
the housing and display of the KTS 350. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents and coarse workshop cloths!
6.1.2
Data carrier
Clean the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM with a disk cleaning
kit or carefully wipe over the silver side of the disk
with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth. Never use paper
towels, as these could cause scratches.
6.1.3
DVD drive
Clean the DVD drive at regular intervals with a
cleaning disk for the CD-ROM or DVD drive. The
appropriate cleaning disks are available from most
computer or entertainment electronics shops.
6.2
Spare and wearing parts

Because of license-related reasons, the recovery
DVD ROMs differ depending on the Windows
version installed. Installing a recovery DVD ROM
that differs from the Windows version installed is
not allowed.

Storage battery replacement
WARNING - Risk of explosion when
charging storage battery!
Risk of explosion and hence burns and
injury in the event of improper charging of
the storage battery!

Only use the storage battery specified for
the KTS 350.
¶
Only use the power supply unit specified
for the KTS 350.
¶
Heed the notes on disposal.
¶
Storage batteries are not to be heated,
burnt, short-circuited, mechanically
damaged or charged with excessively
high currents or reverse polarity!
¶
Suitable extinguishing agents: water,
CO
2
, sand.
1.
Switch off the KTS 350.
2.
Loosen the storage battery screws on the back of
the KTS 350 (see Fig. 3, item 3).
3.
Remove the storage battery.
4.
Insert the new storage battery in the storage-
battery compartment and secure by means of
the two screws on the storage battery (see fig. 3,
item 3).
5.
Switch on KTS 350.

The storage battery charge indicator can be called
up using the
icon.
"
The storage battery charge indicator shows the
current battery charge on a scale of 0 to 100 %.

It is advisable to charge the storage battery for at
least three hours before running the KTS 350 off
the battery.
