Menu items on the display
The menu items from which you can select the next operating step will appear on
the display depending on the function you are currently performing. This overview
contains all menu items in alphabetical order.
You can connect additional devices, a headset for example, to the AEI in-
terface on the underside of the telephone. If an additional device is installed
on your telephone, you can set the appropriate AEI protocol here.
If you want to use your telephone for data transmission, set the AEI opera-
ting mode to “AT command”. This makes three additional menu points
available for setting the baud rate, data bits, and parity.
You can connect a PC to the AEI interface on the underside of yopur tele-
phone. To do this, you must set the AEI operating mode to “Y ETSI AT”.
You can then execute many of the functions of your telephone on a PC with
PTM (“Personal Telephone Manager”, a Windows program).
The AEI interface on the bottom of the telephone can be used to connect
accessories, e.g. a headset.
You can connect a PC to the AEI interface on the bottom of your phone.
Simply set the AEI mode of operation to “Y ETSI AT”. You can then perform
the following phone functions using the PTM

(“Personal Telephone
Manager”, a Windows program): setting the telephone, editing telephone
book entries and saving data on the PC. If you have connected a PC to the
AEI interface, you can see if a call had been diverted or transferred from
another connection. The PC shows you, therefore, to which call number a
connection really exists.
If you want to answer an additional call.
Alerting tone: Adjust the volume.
Adjust the volume of the loudspeaker, the sound pattern of various tones
and the display contrast.
