Personal Safety and
Dust Extractor Use
Stay alert, watch what you are doing
and use common sense when operating
a d u s t e x t r a c t o r .

medication. A moment of inattention
while operating dust extractor may result
in serious personal injury.
Avoid accidental starting. Be sure the
dust extractor’s mode selector switch is
in the “OFF” position before plugging in.
Plugging in dust extractors that have mode
selector switch in “ON” or “ON+AFC”
invites accidents.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance both for you and the dust
extractor at all times. Use extra care
when cleaning on stairs.

Do not vacuum burning, smoking or
s m o l d e r i n g t h i n g s l i k e c i g a r e t t e s ,
matches or hot ashes.
Fire inside the dust
extractor canister may occur.
Do not use to vacuum flammable liquids,
alcohol, gases, or explosive dusts, like
gasoline or other fuels, lighter fluid,
varnish, polyurethane coatings, cleaners,
oil-based paints, natural gas, hydrogen,
coal dust, magnesium dust, grain dust, or
gun powder.
Electric motors create sparks
which may ignite the dust or fumes.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair.
Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away
from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewelry,
or long hair can be caught in moving parts,
hose, and suction nozzles. Keep handles
dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Do not hold the hose against any body
parts during operation.
Static electricity
build-up in the hose during operation may
result in static shock.
Use safety equipment.
Always wear eye and
hearing protection.
Dust mask, non-skid
safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protection must be used for appropriate
conditions.
This product contains chemicals, including
lead, known to the State of California to
cause cancer, and birth defects or other
reproductive harm.
Wash hands after
handling.
Do not use with damaged cord or plug.
If appliance is not working as it should,
h a s b e e n d r o p p e d , d a m a g e d , l e f t
outdoors, or dropped into water, return
it to a service center.
Do not put any object into openings. Do
not use with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that
may reduce air flow.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
