Drive Tray LEDs

Two (2) LED indicators are located on the right side of each drive tray, See

Figure 4.2

. Refer to

Table 4.3

for the LED definitions. When notified by a drive failure message, you should check

the drive tray indicators to find the correct location of the failed drive. Replacing the wrong

drive can fatally fail a logical array.

. The LEDs on the controller’s

faceplate that can be accessed from the rear of the enclosure are numbered from 1 to 5. The

definitions are shown in
