Remote Client Guide

Units are set for dynamic IP addressing by default,
but the configuration can be set to static.
Firewalling
Units should work fine behind a firewall as long as
the proper ports are forwarded to the unit.
Remember that they are TCP ports, not UDP.

Clock display format
Use this dropdown box to select a clock display:
YYYY/MM/DD – Year/Month/Day
MM/DD/YYYY – Month/Day/Year
DD/MM/YYYY – Day/Month/Year

Date and Time Display
The date and time display on the Remote Client reflects that of the PC; same as displayed in the lower right-
hand corner of the desktop.
NOTE: If the DÉSA
XL
Server is located in another time zone, the date time clock will be different than the time
displayed in the cameo while viewing live video. Time shown within the video display reflects the time of the
search, recorded video searching on the local server, or archives stored on the PC.
