Choosing the installation location
Installation in the reference room
▶ Mount the Bosch Control to an interior wall in the reference
room. Ensure there is sufficient free space around the
Bosch Control.

4.3
Installation of the wall mounting plate
The wall mounting plate can be installed directly onto the wall,
for example, in the location of the previous controller.
▶ Connect the 2-wire thermostat cable (EMS BUS) to the
terminals on the wall plate.
The connections are not polarity sensitive.

Connecting to the boiler
The Bosch Control connects to your boiler’s EMS BUS
connections only.
A reference room is an area (for example the
living room) in which the temperature is
measured, which is representative of the whole
home and where the most time is spent.

CAUTION:
Bosch Control connection.
EMS BUS connections only.
▶ Do not connect the Bosch Control to the
boiler main power supply connection.
Ensure when installing on a junction box, that
draughts cannot affect the measurement of the
room temperature.
If necessary, fill the junction box with insulation
material.
CAUTION:
Damage of the Bosch Control.
▶ Under no circumstances must the Bosch
Control be connected to the boiler’s
120 volt connections or external 120 volt
supply.
