Bitte lesen Sie die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch. Bei
Fragen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt oder Fachhandel von dem Sie dieses
Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um einen konfektionierten
Verbandschuh zur Aufnahme des mit einem Wundverband versehenen Fußes
und eventueller Bettungen.
Indikationen
Postoperative oder sonstige Wunden, auch versorgt mit ausgedehnten, evtl.
gepolsterten Verbänden, deren Heilungsvorgang über einen längeren Zeitraum
verläuft und Teilbelastung des Fußes beim Gehen, auch außer Haus, zulässt.
Keine zusätzliche Bettung erforderlich.
Kontraindikationen
Bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch, keine Kontraindikationen bekannt.
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt. Sprechen Sie
Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der
geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von
dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– Während Sie den BORT Verbandschuh tragen, dürfen Sie kein Fahrzeug
steuern
– Wurde das Tragen bei Nacht angeordnet, Beeinträchtigungen des
Blutkreislaufs vermeiden
– bei Taubheitsgefühl Medizinprodukt lockern oder ggf. abnehmen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung anderer Produkte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem
Arzt
– keine Änderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf offenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der verwendeten
Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung eines Patienten
bestimmt
– während der Tragedauer des Verbandschuhs: keine lokale Anwendung von
Cremes oder Salben im Bereich des angelegten Hilfsmittels – kann Material
zerstören
Anziehanleitung
Wichtig:
Schützen Sie die offene Verletzung am Fuß durch einen Verband
oder ähnliches. Tragen Sie an Ihrem gesunden Fuß immer einen rutschfesten
Schuh mit gleicher Absatzhöhe. Tragen Sie den Schuh nicht direkt auf der
Haut.
– Öffnen Sie alle Klettbänder des Schuhes komplett, anschließend Öffnen Sie
die Lasche des Schuhs.
– Prüfen Sie den Schuh auf Fremdkörper und entfernen Sie diese, bevor Sie
in den Schuh einsteigen.
– Steigen Sie mit dem Fuß in den geöffneten Schuh ein.
– Achten Sie auf eine sichere / korrekte Positionierung des Fußes im Schuh,
das heißt die Ferse muss so weit hinten wie möglich im Schuh positioniert
sein.
– Verschließen Sie zuerst die breite Lasche des Schuhs auf der
gegenüberliegenden Klettseite. Anschließend die Klettbänder. Bei Bedarf,
kann das Klettband im Rückfußbereich individuell gekürzt werden. Eine
spezielle Reihenfolge beim Schließen der Verschlüsse, ist nicht zwingend
einzuhalten.
Ablegen
Öffnen Sie alle Klettbänder des Schuhes komplett, anschließend Öffnen
Sie die Lasche des Schuhs. Eine spezielle Reihenfolge beim Öffnen der
Verschlüsse, ist nicht zwingend einzuhalten. Steigen Sie mit dem Fuß aus
dem Verbandschuh aus.
Tipp:
Schließen Sie den Klettverschluss um einen frühzeitigen Verschleiß der
Klettfläche zu vermeiden.

15 % Ethylenvinylacetat (EVA), 5 % Polyurethan (PU)

Keinen Weichspüler verwenden. In Form ziehen und an der Luft trocknen.
Klettverschlüsse schließen, um die Beschädigung anderer Wäschestücke zu
vermeiden.
Gewährleistung
Für das erworbene Produkt gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen des
Landes, in dem Sie das Produkt bezogen haben. Bitte wenden Sie sich
an Ihren Fachhandel, sollten Sie einen Gewährleistungsfall vermuten.
Bitte das Produkt vor Einreichung eines Gewährleistungsfalles reinigen.
Wurden beiliegende Hinweise der Gebrauchsanweisung nicht ausreichend
beachtet, so kann die Gewährleistung beeinträchtigt werden bzw. entfallen.
Ausgeschlossen ist eine Gewährleistung bei nicht indikationsgerechter
Anwendung, Nichtbeachtung der Anwendungsrisiken, -hinweise sowie
eigenmächtig vorgenommenen Änderungen am Produkt.
Nutzungsdauer / Lebensdauer des Produkts
Die Lebensdauer des Medizinprodukts wird durch den natürlichen Verschleiß
bei sach- und anwendungsgemäßem Umgang bestimmt.
Meldepflicht
Kommt es bei der Anwendung des Medizinproduktes zu einer
schwerwiegenden Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustandes, dann
melden Sie dies Ihrem Fachhändler oder uns als Hersteller sowie dem BfArM
(Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte).

BORT Therapeutic Shoe, open design

Please read the existing instructions for use carefully. If you have any
questions, please refer to your physician or the specialist retailer from whom
you purchased this medical device.
Intended purpose
This medical device is a ready-made therapeutic shoe for holding the foot
provided with a wound dressing and possible insoles.
Indications
Post-operative and other wounds, even when treated with extensive and
possibly padded bandaging, where the healing process takes place over an
extended period of time and weight can be placed partially on the foot whilst
walking, even outdoors. An additional insole is not required.
Contraindications
No contraindications are known if used correctly.
Application risks / Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and duration
with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you have received
the medical device will select the appropriate size and instruct you regarding
its use.
– remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
– you must not drive any vehicle whilst wearing the BORT therapeutic shoe
– if wearing at night is prescribed, avoid negative influence on the circulatory
system
– in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your
physician
– do not make any changes to the product
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst wearing the therapeutic shoe, please neither use any creams nor
ointments in the vicinity of the attached aid as they can destroy the material
Fitting instructions
Important:
Protect the open injury on the foot with a bandage or similar.
Always wear a non-slip shoe with the same heel height on the healthy foot.
Do not wear the shoe directly on the skin.
– Fully open all the Velcro shoe straps, then open the shoe tongue.
– Check the shoe for foreign bodies and remove them before putting the
shoe on.
– Place your foot into the opened shoe when putting it on.
– Pay attention to safe / correct positioning of the foot in the shoe, i.e. the
heel must be positioned as far back as possible in the shoe.
– Close the wide tongue of the shoe on the opposite Velcro side first. Then,
the Velcro straps. If required, the Velcro strap can be shortened individually
in the back foot area. It is not necessary to adhere to a specific sequence
for closing the fasteners.
Removal
Fully open all the Velcro shoe straps, then open the shoe tongue. It is not
necessary to adhere to a specific sequence for opening the fasteners.
Remove your foot from the therapeutic shoe.
Tip:
Close the Velcro fastener in order to avoid early wear to the Velcro
surface.

Do not use fabric conditioner. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.
Close the Velcro fastenings to avoid damage to other laundry items.
Guarantee
The legal regulations of the country in which you acquired the product apply
to the purchased product. Please contact your specialist retailer if you suspect
a warranty claim. Please clean the product before submitting a warranty
claim. If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly observed,
the warranty may be impaired or cancelled. The warranty does not cover use
of the product inappropriate for the indication, non-observance of application
risks, instructions and unauthorised modifications to the product.
Useful life / Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and tear if
treated appropriately and as recommended.
Duty of notification
If a serious worsening of the state of health occurs when using the
medical device, you are obliged to notify the specialist dealer or us as the
manufacturer and the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency
(MHRA).

Disposal
Upon the termination of use, the product must be disposed of in accordance
with the corresponding local requirements.

Utilisation prévue
Ce dispositif médical est une chaussure confectionée permettant d’enfiler le
pied avec un pansement, ainsi que d’éventuelles semelles.
Indications
Plaies post-opératoires ou autres, même soignées avec des bandages
extensibles et éventuellement rembourrés dont le processus de guérison
s’étend sur une période prolongée et permet une sollicitation partielle du
pied lors des déplacements, même en dehors de la maison. Aucune semelle
supplémentaire requise.
Contre-indications
Aucune contre-indication n’est connue lorsque le dispositif est manipulé
conformément à l’usage.
Risques inhérents à l’utilisation / Remarques importantes
Ce dispositif médical est un produit prescrit sur ordonnance. Consultez votre
médecin prescripteur pour en connaître l’utilisation et la durée de port. Le
choix de la taille ainsi qu’une présentation du produit seront réalisés par le
personnel spécialisé qui vous fournira ce dispositif médical.
– retirer le dispositif médical avant les examens radiologiques
– ne pas conduire de véhicule pendant le port de la chaussure BORT
– en cas de prescription de port de nuit, éviter toute entrave à la circulation
sanguine
– en cas de sensation d’engourdissement, desserrer ou retirer
éventuellement le dispositif médical
– consulter un médecin ou un magasin spécialisé en cas de gêne persistante
– utiliser le dispositif médical conformément aux indications
– utilisation simultanée d’autres produits exclusivement sur avis de votre
médecin
