Environmental regulations
Never leave the discarded packaging unattended. Separate the various
packaging materials by type and deliver them to the nearest waste
separation station in your municipality.
We use non-polluting and therefore environmentally friendly and
recyclable materials for our product packaging. We therefore ask
for your cooperation in ensuring proper processing of the packaging
material. Addresses of collection, recycling or processing centres are
available at your municipality. Do not leave part or all of the packaging
lying anywhere. This can be a choking hazard for children, especially
the plastic bags. You should also make sure you dispose of your old
appliance appropriately.
Important
Bring the appliance to the local company appointed to collect
used household appliances. With proper processing, valuable
materials can be efficiently recycled. Before disposing of your
appliance, it is important that you remove the doors and leave
the racks in the in-use position to prevent children from playing
in the oven and becoming trapped. You also need to cut off the
electrical supply cable and remove it together with the plug. The
guidelines set the standards for the collection and recycling
of waste equipment that apply to the entire territory of the
European Union. It is advisable to remove all packaging residues
in and around the cooker and then clean the cooker.
Cleaning before first use
Before using the ovens for the first time, heat the oven(s) for half an
hour at full power. You should do this on the hot air setting, top and
bottom heat and on the grill setting. There will be an unpleasant
scorching smell and light smoke as the oven is being broken in. This is
normal. We recommend that you keep the kitchen space well ventilated
during this process.
