  Check the voltage at the input of the reactor (transformer side).  If the voltage stays 

above  90%  of  the  nominal  voltage,  you  can  operate  your  system  without  the 
reactor.  If the voltage drops below 90% of the nominal voltage, you may need to 
upsize your input transformer or get a transformer with lower impedance for proper 
operation.
