Arrangement and Operation
The modem is intended to convert RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 signals to a fiber optic link only.
Interconversion between RS-232 and RS-422/RS-485 signals is not provided. However, RS-232 and
RS-422/RS-485 signals can be transmitted over a fiber link simultaneously.
