wiring.
Fasteners contacting a "live" wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool
"live" and could give the operator an electric
shock.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
-Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is
damaged.
-Ensure that the voltage indicated on the charger
rating label matches the mains voltage before
plugging in the charger.
-Connect the appliance to a socket that can
supply a minimum of 10 amperes.
-Only use the appliance with the specific electric
base / connector, supplied with the appliance.
-Do not use the appliance with damp hands or
feet, or when barefooted.
-Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
-Disconnect the appliance from the mains when
not in use and before undertaking any cleaning
task.
-This appliance is for household use only, not

If the model of your appliance does not have the
accessories described above, they can also be
bought separately from the Technical Assistance
Service.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
-Caution: A new battery is not fully charged and
must therefore be charged before the appliance
is used for the first time.
-Charge the battery at an atmospheric tempera-
ture of between 4 and 40ºC.
-Plug the charger (K) into the mains.
-Connect the charger to the jack (L) using the
socket on the appliance. The socket is located
at the lower/back part of the appliance.
-The pilot light will come on to indicate that the
charger is charging the battery.
-When the battery is charged disconnect the
charger from the mains supply.
-NB: Do not use the appliance while it is con-
nected to the charger.
HOW TO CHECK THE BATTERY’S CHARGE
LEVEL:
-Press the battery charge level indicator button,
the pilot lights that indicate if it is charged will
light up.
-If all three pilot lights come on (red, yellow
and green) this means that the appliance is
fully charged.
-If only two of the pilot lights light up (red and
yellow) this means that the battery is half
charged.
-If only one pilot light lights up (red) this
means that the battery has very little power
remaining.
-If no pilot light lights up, this means that the
battery is completely flat.
-NB: For a long battery life, it is advisable to
charge the battery, only, when it has run out
completely.
ASSEMBLING THE BATTERY/S
-Caution: During the handling of batteries, do
not touch both poles at the same time, as this
will provoke the partial discharge of the stocked
energy therefore affecting longevity.
-Check that the plastic covering that protects the
battery has been removed (some batteries are
sold with a protective covering).
-It is essential that the batteries should always
be the same kind and the same charge. Never
mix alkaline batteries with normal one (Car-
bon-Zinc) and/or rechargeable ones.
-N.B. When changing the batteries, the config-
uration of the appliance will be removed, and
you will need to reset the parameters of the
appliance.
