CHARGING THE BATTERY

-Charge the battery at an atmospheric tempera-

ture of between 4 and 40ºC.

-Plug the charger (K) into the mains.
-Connect the charger to the jack (L) using the

socket on the appliance. The socket is located

at the lower/back part of the appliance.

-The pilot light will come on to indicate that the

charger is charging the battery.

-When the battery is charged disconnect the

charger from the mains supply.

-NB: Do not use the appliance while it is con-

nected to the charger.

HOW TO CHECK THE BATTERY’S CHARGE

LEVEL:

-Press the battery charge level indicator button,

the pilot lights that indicate if it is charged will

light up.

-If all three pilot lights come on (red, yellow

and green) this means that the appliance is

fully charged.

-If only two of the pilot lights light up (red and

yellow) this means that the battery is half

charged.

-If only one pilot light lights up (red) this

means that the battery has very little power

remaining.

-If no pilot light lights up, this means that the

battery is completely flat.

-NB: For a long battery life, it is advisable to

charge the battery, only, when it has run out

completely.

ASSEMBLING THE BATTERY/S

-Caution: During the handling of batteries, do

not touch both poles at the same time, as this

will provoke the partial discharge of the stocked

energy therefore affecting longevity.

-Check that the plastic covering that protects the

battery has been removed (some batteries are

sold with a protective covering).

-It is essential that the batteries should always

be the same kind and the same charge. Never

mix alkaline batteries with normal one (Car-

bon-Zinc) and/or rechargeable ones.

-N.B. When changing the batteries, the config-

uration of the appliance will be removed, and

you will need to reset the parameters of the

appliance.
