B

TO MAKE ESPRESSO COFFEE

Espresso is a rich, dark coffee served in 2-ounce shots. An espresso is a

blend of full-bodied coffee and aromatic enjoyment.

1. Remove the water reservoir cover by turning it counterclockwise. Pour

desired measure of water in water reservoir with the carafe. Do not exceed

the maximum capacity.

Note: The minimum capacity is 2 cups; the maximum capacity is 4 cups.

2. Before pouring water into the water reservoir, make sure the power cord
is unplugged from the power outlet and the steam knob is in the OFF
position.

3. Replace the water reservoir cover by turning it clockwise until it locks in
position.

4. Put the steel mesh filter into the metal funnel, add ground coffee powder
to steel mesh with the measuring spoon. (a spoonful makes about a cup of
top-grade coffee.) Using the measuring spoon, gently press down to tamp
coffee, and then wipe any excess grounds from the rim.

Note: Measure the desired ground coffee to make the desired cups of

coffee.  DO NOT overfill the Filter Basket. This may cause clogging or

overflow.
