Control place indications
The symbols
I/O term

Keypad
and
Bus/Comm
indicate the choice made in
the menu "Keypad control" (M3).
I/O term
= I/O terminals are the selected control place; i.e. START/STOP
commands or reference values etc. are given via the I/O ter-
minals.
Keypad
= The control keypad is the selected control place; i.e. the
motor can be started or stopped, or its reference values etc.
changed via the keypad.
Bus/Comm
= The frequency converter is controlled via a fieldbus.
Status LEDs (green – green – red)
The status LEDs light up in connection with the drive status indicators READY,
RUN and FAULT.
READY = Lights up with the main power supply connected to the drive.
Simultaneously, the drive status display READY is lit up.
RUN
= Lights up when the drive is running. Blinks when the STOP button
has been pushed and the drive is ramping down.
FAULT
= Lights up when unsafe operating conditions occured due to which
the drive was stopped (fault clearance). Simultaneously, the drive
status display FAULT blinks and the fault description is displayed.
Text lines
The three text lines provide the user with information on his present location
in the keypad menu structure as well as with operational data of the drive.
1. line
= Location indication – displays the symbol and number of menu,
parameter etc..

= Menu 2 (Parameter);
P2.1.3
= Acceleration time 1
2. line
= Description line – displays the description of menu, value or fault.
3. line
= Value line – displays the numerical and textual values of refer-
ences, parameters etc. and the number of submenus available in
each menu.
The alphanumeric control keypad features 9 push-buttons that are used for
the control of the frequency converter (and motor), parameter setting and
value monitoring.
