CAUTION:
To avoid injury, hold onto the handrails while mounting and dismounting the
treadmill. Hold onto the handrails and place feet on siderails before starting. Step onto the walking
belt only
at the
slowest speed. Always hold on to a handrail or hand bar while making control
changes (incline, speed, etc.). Before operating the console make sure that the power cord is
properly plugged in and the on / off button is on. Attach the magnet end of the safety key onto the
monitor and attach the clip end of the safety key to your clothing (ie: waistband). If you should slip
or fall while exercising the safety key will pull out of the console, shutting off the treadmill.
Getting started:
Power the treadmill on by plugging it into an appropriate wall outlet, then turn on the power switch
located at the front of the treadmill below the motor hood.
Display Windows
TIME Window
The Time window begins counting time after
pressing
start until the workout ends. When there
is no preset time, the time counts up. If there is preset time, time counts down from the preset
time.
SPEED Window
Displays the current speed from starting at 0.5mph to 10mph.
(Display shows M,MI,ML means MPH)
INCLINE Window
The user may adjust the incline level after
pressing
start in order to achieve the workout goal.
The value of the incline level will be displayed on the INCLINE window.
DISTANCE Window
The odometer or DISTANCE Window begins to count after
pressing
start until the workout
ends. When there is no preset distance, the DISTANCE window counts up. When there is
preset distance, the DISTANCE counts down from the preset value.
Calorie Display WINDOWS
This window displays the cumulative calories burned at any given time during your workout.
When there is preset calorie value, the window counts down from the preset value.
Note: This is only a rough guide used for comparison of different exercise sessions, which
cannot be used for medical purposes.
PROGRAM Window
The user
chooses
the needed program mode and
will be
displayed on the PROGRAM window.
PULSE Window
PULSE (heart rate) control window displays the heart rate value
of
your current workout. You
must use both of the stainless steel sensors to show your pulse and the value is displayed
when the pulse signal is received.
Function of Buttons
“START” Button
Pressing this button the treadmill starts at speed 0.5 mile/hour.
“STOP” Button
Pressing this button during
the
workout, the treadmill stops gradually. Press it a second time, it
returns to ready mode. Pressing this button during setting parameters returns to the last step.
Press and hold this button for 3 seconds, it exits and returns to ready mode.
