Controller.
Various functions can be activated
from the Control Display using this rotary/push
button. Four menus can also be called up using
direct menu control buttons: CD, radio, navigation
and telephone. The other three buttons – Menu,
Option and Back – make for easier operation.

Functional bookmarks:
with these buttons,
the driver and passenger can save their most
frequently used navigation, audio (e.g. certain
radio stations or CD tracks) or telephone
functions on eight separate buttons for rapid
access.

Control Display
with TFT screen (6.5-inch,
colour). Shows the functions activated by the
Controller (e.g. on-board computer or radio).
In conjunction with the optional Navigation
system Professional* or with the TV function,
the screen measures 8.8 inches.

TV function
allows you to use the Control
Display as a television when the vehicle is
stationary. Both analogue and digital (DVB-T)
channels broadcast by terrestrial stations
can be received.

Park Distance Control (PDC),
front
(standard at the rear), makes parking and
manoeuvring easier in the narrowest spaces.
The distance between the vehicle and the
nearest obstacle is signalled acoustically as
well as visually in the Control Display (standard
on ActiveHybrid X6).

Auxiliary heating with remote control,
ideal in winter and in cold weather. When you
step into your vehicle, the windscreen is
already free of ice and the interior is pleasantly
warm (not available for ActiveHybrid X6).

Navigation system Professional*
with
high-resolution colour 8.8-inch display, incl.
DVD drive, hard disk also for music files that
can be transferred from a CD, MP3 player or
USB stick; dynamic route planning with traffic
guidance provided by voice information or 3D
route map, split-screen function (standard on
ActiveHybrid X6).

Rear view camera with Top View
clearly
shows the rear and side areas of the vehicle on
the Control Display. Interactive track lines
indicate, for example, whether the desired
parking space is large enough for the vehicle.
In addition, the image area of the tow bar is
enlarged. The rear view camera is automatically
activated when reverse gear is engaged
(standard on ActiveHybrid X6).
