Fitting the rear-wheel stand
(

Slip wooden chocks or similar
under the rear wheel to prevent
it from dropping out after the
quick-release axle has been
removed.

Press brake caliper

against

brake disc

Brake pistons are pushed back.

Remove nut

with the washer.

Slacken locknuts

on left and

right.
Slacken adjusting screws

left and right.
Remove adjusting plate

and

push the axle in as far as it will
go.

Remove quick-release axle

and remove adjusting plate

Roll the rear wheel as far
forward as possible and
disengage chain

from the

sprocket.
