33–Checking the adjustment of the panorama glass roof

Prerequisite
Panoramic glass sunroof is completely closed, roller sunblind is open.
RISK OF DAMAGE
Any screws or foreign objects remaining at the installation
location or in the component may damage the panorama
glass roof.
• Position the panoramic glass sunroof cover

• Renew screws

Screws
• Screw in the bolts
(

on the left and right, do not tighten yet.
Damage to the panorama glass roof or the mechanics
of the panorama glass roof.
• Ensure that no screws or other foreign objects are left
behind.
• Check if the distance of the panorama glass roof lid to the roof is the
same at the front and rear.
• Insert special tool
0 493 687 (00 9 340)
between the seal

and
the panorama glass roof lid
(

)
.
The resistance when moving the special tool must be the same at
the front and rear.
• Make sure the front of the lid is flush to a dimension of
(

lower
than the roof outer skin at the front.
• Make sure that the front of the lid is flush to a dimension of
(
a
)
higher than the rear of the lid.
• Make sure the rear of the lid is flush to a dimension of
(
a
)
higher
than the rear of the roof outer skin.
