The motorcycle is equipped
with a symmetrical low—beam
headlight, and can therefore
also be used without mod-
ification in countries which
drive on the opposite side of
the road as in the country of
registration.
Headlight range and
spring preload
The headlight range gener-
ally remains constant due to
the adjustment of the spring
preload to the loading state.
Spring preload adjustment
may only be insufficient when
the motorcycle is very heav-
ily loaded. In this case, the
headlight range must be ad-
justed to the weight.
If you are unsure
whether the basic
headlight setting is correct,
consult a specialized
workshop, preferably an
authorized BMW Motorrad
retailer.
