obtain the auxiliary stand from

your authorised BMW Motor-
rad dealer.

Fitting auxiliary stand

Make sure the ground is
level and firm and place the
motorcycle on its stand.
Use the auxiliary stand with
the number (001631) and
the H adapter with the num-
ber (001639).

With the lifting lever to the
left, slip the auxiliary stand
into position underneath
the motorcycle, between

the side stand and the rear
wheel.

On the left—hand side,
