Coolant level is too low.

Topping up coolant ( 82).

The radiator is dirty.
Clean radiator ( 116).
Possible cause:
The fan or fan control is faulty.
Have the malfunction cor-
rected as soon as possible
at an authorized service facil-
ity, preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad Retailer.
Possible cause:
The coolant circuit is faulty.
If possible, allow the engine
to cool down.
Only ride in partial load range.
If the coolant temperature
is often too high, have the
fault rectified as soon as pos-
sible by a specialist work-
shop, preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad retailer.
