SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove any of the covers. The
appliance contains parts that are not accessible to the user. Repairs may only
be carried out by qualified specialists.
• The appliance label is located on the bottom of the appliance.
•
Do not place vessels filled with liquids, such as vases or watering cans, on
it.
• Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, sinks, kitchen sinks, washing
troughs, on wet surfaces, near swimming pools, or where there is wetness
or high humidity.
• Do not drop metal objects on this unit.
•
Do not place heavy objects on this unit.
•
Only use accessories and attachments that are approved by the
manufacturer.
• Unplug the appliance during thunderstorms, lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time. This will help prevent damage.
•
Have repairs carried out only by qualified specialists.
•
Repairs are necessary if the unit has been damaged in any way, i.e. if
objects have fallen on it, if it is not working properly or if it has been
dropped. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Opening the cover
exposes you to the risk of electric shock and other injury.
• To prevent the risk of electric shock, avoid overloading the circuit, cables
or built-in connections. Insert the mains plug fully into the socket. Do not
pull on the cable, bend it or place heavy objects on it. Do not handle the
plug with wet hands. Hold the plug by its body when pulling it out. Do
not use a damaged mains plug or socket. Install this appliance so that the
power cord can be unplugged from the outlet immediately in the event of
a malfunction.

Do not place sources of naked flame, such as lighted candles, on the unit.
•
Only connect the unit to earthed earthed sockets!
•
A splash-proof function is only really achieved if the plug of the appliance
used is also constructed according to the same protection class (IP44).
• If the unit has come loose from its vertical position, check whether water
has got into the socket before using it again. Only after this check has been
carried out and has shown that no water has entered, can the socket be
put back into operation.
•
It is strictly forbidden to continue using the rubber cable if its insulation is
damaged. It must be replaced by a certified cable and plug with the same
characteristics.
Small objects / packaging parts
: Keep small objects (e.g. screws and other
assembly material) and packaging parts out of the reach of children so that
they cannot be swallowed by them. Do not let small children play with foil.
Danger of suffocation!
Installation: Do not place the unit in hollows or holes where water can collect.
