SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully the entire manual.
• The pyrolytic heater is designed exclusively for outdoor heating and
should not be used for any other purposes. the heater is intended for
outdoor use only. The operator before using the equipment must read and
know all the safety precautions outlined in this document.
• All local regulations, including those that refer to national and European
law must be respected when installing or using the unit.
•
The heater must be placed on a floor or platform with load-bearing
capacity appropriated to sustain the weight of the equipment declared by
the manufacturer.
• Place any furniture at a distance of more than 30 cm away from the walls
of the heater and at least 50 cm away from the radiation area of the glass
tube.
• Use the heater only when equipped with mitts able to provide an adequate
protection against heat.
• Do not touch the heater during normal operation without these
protections.
• WARNING: accessible parts may become hot during use. Children should
be kept away.
• The heater should be fuelled only with wood pellets. it is strictly forbidden
to burn any other material.
•
It is forbidden to burn woodchips or (for example) pieces of chipboard,
“medium density”, pieces of painted wood, panel pieces that may contain
resins, foils ant or other media finishing of wood.
• The use of other types of wood different from pellets could generate toxic
combustion gas and cause damages to the structure of the heater. The
combustion of the mentioned types of wood is also prohibited by law.
• The heater must be steadily controlled by the user during its normal
operation.
• The metallic sheathing of the glass tube as well as the door of the internal
brazier of both models must be always closed during the use of the heater,
so that the key of the door has to be pulled out. Please, make only use of
the key in moments of re-filling the internal brazier.
• Never exceed a maximum pellet load of 9 kg. An usage of more pellets
could impair the functioning of the heater.
• Never introduce paper, plastics or siliconic materials in order to avoid
possible generations of flames.
•
If you see smoke, introduce an other piece of firelighter in order to support
the combustion.
• Clean the heater regularly and remove any combustion residual from the
glass tube, as well as from the internal brazier.
• Neglecting to clean the heater could cause a deterioration of the surface
that adversely could affect the life of the device and lead to dangerous
