HELMET
Fitting and adjustment
In order for the helmet to provide the correct protection, it must be adjusted to fit the size of the user’s
head� It must be worn with the peak at the front� To change the size, adjust the straps at the back
of the helmet so that it feels comfortable on your head� During storage or transportation, keep the
helmet away from direct sunlight, chemicals and abrasive substances, and contact with hard surfaces/
objects to prevent damage�
Use
The helmet is intended to absorb the energy from impacts, either by being destroyed itself or by its
casing or straps being damaged� Helmets that have been subjected to powerful impacts must be
discarded, even if there are no signs of visible damage�
It is not permitted to modify the helmet or remove original parts from the helmet (unless
recommended by the manufacturer), as this can result in the helmet sustaining damage� Accessories
and/or replacement parts such as chinstraps, ear protection, visors and lamps on the helmet are
supplied by the dealer, together with installation instructions� It is not permitted to apply paint,
solvents or self-adhesive labels to the helmet, unless allowed by the helmet’s manufacturer�
EAR PROTECTION

Extend the headband as far as possible and place the ear protection over your ears with the
headband over your head�

Place the headband over your head while you adjust the height of the ear protection until
they feel comfortable and the headband is resting on your head�

The ear protection must fit tightly against your head�
4�
Adjust the length of the headband to ensure noise is effectively shut out�
Put on the ear protection before you expose yourself to noise, and keep the protection in place for as
long as the noise lasts� The ear protection is a normal size and fits most users�
The material from which the ear protection is made does not cause skin irritation, allergic reactions or
other negative effects on health�
