The BlueSpot Right Threaded Brake Piston Wind Back Tool is specially designed for use 
with brake calipers with a right threaded piston.

BlueSpot Left Threaded Brake Piston Wind Back Tool - 07914

The BlueSpot Left Threaded Brake Piston Wind Back Tool is specially designed for use 
with brake calipers with a left-handed threaded piston. 

Operation 

Before beginning always ensure you have read the safe use points from the manual and 
that they have all been followed. 

ALWAYS

 ensure special care is taken when working with the brakes and brake hose. 

1.  Safely park the vehicle and raise securely on axle stands. 

DO NOT

 apply the 

 

handbrake if the rear calipers are being removed. 

2.  Remove the relevant wheel. Refer to the manufacturers instructions.
3.  Remove the caliper retaining fasteners. 
4.  Position caliper away from the brake disc or detach completely. 
5.  Always ensure wear warning wires are removed from the vehicle if fitted before 
 

removing the brake pads. 

6.  Remove the worn brake pads from the vehicle. 
7.  Select the side of the drive key that is matches the holes of the piston as close as 
 possible.
