7.11.1 Creating Your Microsoft Account
Create a Microsoft account when you first set up your device or any time later. If you create a Microsoft
account on your device, a mail account is added automatically.
•
To use web and data services, your device must be connected to a Wi-Fi or data networks.
•
Using the Internet browser or downloading from the Internet via your data network may incur extra
charges depending on your data plan.
To create a Microsoft account when you set up your device
When you activate your device for the first time, you had better create a Microsoft account for using various
apps.

When you have completed the setup, you will be signed in to your device.
