Note: Please make sure you have the latest firmware upgrade for your Phone. Go to the 
support section of the relevant site to check you have the latest version. You will need to 
register your device to download updates.

a. 

ACTIVATING THE BLUETOOTH 

You must activate the Bluetooth feature of your Smartphone2 to establish a Bluetooth 
connection between your device and other Bluetooth devices. 

         1.  Tap 

. Scroll down and Tap 

Settings.

 Tap

 Bluetooth

.

 

         2.  Scroll to 

On 

and Tap 

Done

.

 

 

 

b. 

PAIRING TO THE CELLULAR PHONE  

1. 

Bring your Smartphone2 to within about 20 cm from the SuperTooth.  

2. 

The Supertooth II is initially off. Turn it on by flipping up the 

Swivel Arm 

to

 

the 55º

 

position.

 

The

 Bluetooth Indicator 

will glow

 (blue blink). 

3. Simultaneously 

press 

the 

Reject Button 

and the 

Pick-Up/Hang-Up Button 

for about 10 

seconds. A distinctive tone will be heard and the Bluetooth Indicator LED will change 
from blinking blue to alternate blinking red and blue. SuperTooth II is now in 

Handsfree

 

Pairing Mode. 

 

4. 

Press the Pick-Up/Hang-Up Button again. Press shortly (release immediately). 
Bluetooth indicator blinking will be faster.  The Supertooth II is now in Headset 
Pairing Mode. 

5. Tap . Scroll down and Tap 

Settings.

 Tap

 Bluetooth 

and then

 Menu. 

6. Tap 

Bonded Devices

 tab. Tap Menu and then 

New

. (Smartphone2 will now search for 

devices) 

7. 

Scroll to SuperTooth and select 

Add.

 

8. 

Enter “0000” as the Device PIN and then tap 

Done

. 

9. (Note: 

In 

Name

, you may or may not edit the name of your bonded device).       

10.  For the question, 

“This Bluetooth device supports headset profile, would you like to set it 

as your Bluetooth headset?”, 

 tap 

Yes

.

 

11. Tap 

ok,

 

 

 

and then exit. 

 

The Handsfree Kit is paired with your Smartphone2.  

 

c. ANSWERING/RECEIVING 

A 

CALL 

When the phone is receiving a call, two dissimilar ring tones will be heard from the phone and 
then from the SuperTooth. 

1. 

When answering is done on the SuperTooth 

(that is, pressing

 

Pick-Up/Hang-Up once),

 

audio will be heard on it.  

2. 

When answering is done on the phone, ongoing call will be heard on the phone 

(not on 

the SuperTooth)

. But if you wish to hear and transfer the audio to the Handsfree Kit, just 

press the Send button once on the SuperTooth. 

3. 

To terminate the call, press down the Pick-Up/Hang-Up  Button.
