Attach a 1-1/4” or 1-1/2” hose onto
fitting installed in step 8 and clamp into
place using one stainless steel clamp
(see figure 13). Attach the loose end of
the hose to fitting on intake of pump
(typically opening on front of pump)
and clamp into place (see figure 12).
If hose seems too snug to fit over hose
fitting place end of hose in hot water
for 5 minutes then install on fitting.

Install skimmer weir (BS 25623) into
skimmer from inside of pool by placing
tabs into notches on skimmer even with
faceplate (see figures 14 A and 14 B).

Install skimmer standoff (BS 26484)
with curved side facing skimmer body
and with the tape side closest to
the ground. Remove backing of
double-sided tape and stick on top of
center lip of skimmer. The small end
should lean against the pool to prevent
buckling of pool wall (see figure 15).
