After the fermentor has been empties of its contents
attach a ½” barbed fitting to the bottom dump valve.
1. Before using the CIP Spray Ball rinse out any loose material
inside the fermentor
2. Once the rinse is complete connect the hoses to the pump
and kettle as shown in
Figure 5.
3. Fill the kettle with enough water to completely recirculate
and add in the recommended amount PBW™
(Powdered Brewery Wash™).
4. Heat the PBW™ in the kettle and Recirculate for 45 mins.
5. Drain the contents and sanitize.
Option 2: (Kettle Fluid Reservoir)
Warning:
Never operate the CIP spray ball without first openly
venting the fermentor to the atmosphere! Gases in the fermentor
can expand and create dangerous pressures or vacuums.
Tip:
Never run the pump dry.

Post CIP Dissassembly and Cleaning
Dissassemble and clean fermentor fittings and seals as outlined in the cleaning and sanitization sections of
fermentor product manuals. Inspect fermentor and lid and scour any unreached areas where the fittings and
lid hatch seal against the fermentor with a Scotch-Brite™ type green scouring pads.
Caution:
Do not use a steel wool scouring pad as the metal particles will rust on the surface of the parts.
