When blending HOT liquids, the clear center portion of the lid acts as a pressure relief
to allow steam to escape� Be careful not to come in contact with the steam�

SECTION 2 - COMPONENT OVERVIEW
2.1 MOTOR BASE
The blender base consists of the blender motor, touch pad control, and liquid crystal
display (LCD) information center� (See Figures 1 and 2�)

Blender base: Houses the blender motor in a plastic casing� Never remove the
plastic casing� Removal of the plastic casing will void the warranty�

Touchpad: Consists of five buttons which contain pre-programmed settings as well
as a pulse for selective blender control�

LCD Information Center: When a cycle is completed, the display increments
the cumulative cycle for warranty purposes� It also indicates overload or over-
temperature conditions�

Blender Motor: This unit is located within the blender base and contains the
machinery which runs the blender, including the electric motor, drive train, and
computerized control board�
2.2 BLENDER JAR ASSEMBLY
The blender jar assembly consists of the blender jar, blade assembly, and lid� The
blender jar assembly integrates these components to ensure consistently blended
drinks and greater operator safety�

Jar: Made from a BPA-free material to provide maximum performance as well as clear
visibility of blender performance�

Blade: Made from stainless steel, and designed to ensure fast, consistent blending�
▶
Lid: Designed to provide ease of handling and quick removal for high speed
operations� Contains a clear center cap which provides pressure relief when blending
hot foods� The center cap can be removed when the blender is off in order to add
ingredients or liquids�
2.5 POWER SPECIFICATIONS
The Xpress is certified for use on 220/240 volt circuits and is limited to 6�5 amps� It is
required that this unit be installed with a 7�5 amp (or greater) circuit breaker or fuse�
