Please kindly note the battery power is for clock and alarm time keeping, save the pre-used
volume and preset FM station only.
Remark:
a. Please install the battery (not included) according to polarity shown inside of the
battery compartment.
b. In the event of a power interruption, the backup battery power can makes your
clock setting continue to work. The clock display will not light up. This also enables
you to move the set from place to place without re-setting the clock every time.
c. The backup battery power is only meant to be used from short temporary power
interruption. For longer durations, the battery may become exhausted or there
may be some deviation in accuracy. When the battery is exhausted, it should be
removed from the set to prevent leakage. If you do not wish to take advantage of
the battery back-up system, your set will work normally without a battery.
However, if disconnected from the mains, the clock figures will flash when the
mains are re-connected and you must re-set the clock as described in the time
setting paragraph.
d. Attention:
batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery
disposal. Don't throw used batteries in dustbin. Please contact and reference your
local government requirement of battery recycling.
e. The battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the
like.
FM radio operation
Before start the FM radio tuning, please fully extend and adjust the position of the FM
antenna wire; and try to move the radio next to the window for better signal reception.
1. Enter FM radio mode
Short press the / FUNCTION button can turn on the unit and enter to FM radio
mode. The FM frequency will show on display.
2. Manual tune and auto scan
Short press the MINUTE TUNING > or HOUR TUNING < button can increase or
decrease the FM radio frequency 0.1MHz per step.
Press and hold MINUTE TUNING > or HOUR TUNING < button for two seconds can
auto scan the available strong FM station in upward or downward frequency, and
auto play the available FM radio.
3. Radio preset
Press the MINUTE TUNING > or HOUR TUNING < button to tune the radio
frequency and get the desired preset station, press and hold the TIME SET/
MEMORY/PLAY PAUSE button till the “ PXX” blinking on display; short press the
MINUTE TUNING > or HOUR
