In order to enter the destination “Kaiserstrasse/Kennedydamm junction”,
•
press the
STREET/JUNCTION
function key.
ENTER STREET
will appear in the header.
Select the letter “K”:
•
by pressing
/
or
/
as many times as necessary until “
K
” is
highlighted.
•
Press
ENTER
.
The “
K
” will now appear in the input line.
Select “A”, “I” and “S” one after the other. The input line should now read
“
KAIS
”.
You have now entered enough letters to come close to the street name
KAISERSTRASSE in the list of streets.
•
Finish the entry by pressing the function key to the left of the input
line.
The list of streets will now appear on the display.
Note:
If you cannot find the name of the street on this list, you can use to page
through the entries. If the street names are too long for the display you can
move the entry vertically by pressing
/
.

Finish the entry by pressing the function key to the left of
KAI-
SERSTRASSE
.
After a short waiting period, you will see
HILDESHEIM KAISER-
STRASSE
as your selected destination.
You have now entered enough information to start the route guidance
function. In our example, however, we wanted to select the junction
Kaiserstrasse/Kennedydamm as our destination.
