General information
The BEA 120 unit is a four-channel equalizer
which incorporates an amplifier and a fader
for four speakers. It can be connected to
either kind of car radio without integrated
booster/amplifier.
For connecting the unit, read through the
mounting and connection instructions.
The amplifier is automatically switched on
and off together with the car radio.
The equalizer and the level indicator can be
switched off separately .
Traffic security
As a motorist you must dedicate your full
attention to the traffic around you. Therefore
always use your car radio such that to be
able to cope with the current traffic situation
in any moment.
In critical situations it is not advisable to use
the car radio set, since careless driving can
lead to bad consequences. Do not forget
that at a speed of 50 km/h you are already
covering a distance of almost 14 m a se-
cond.
When adjusting the volume, make sure that
any external acoustic signals can still be
heard in order to react accordingly.
The following has to be taken into consi-
deration when connecting a car radio with
ARI traffic information:
If the volume is automatically in creased for
traffic messages, it is advisable to reduce
the normal radio volume. If not, the traffic
messages will be represented very loud
due to the high amplifying level. This could
make you startle and thus lead to undesired
reactions while driving.
