Note: The computer sets your low-end target heart rate by calculating
65% of your maximum heart rate.

The speed and incline will slowly adjust to get and keep you within your target
heart rate zone.
The treadmill must be receiving your heart rate signal by the chest strap
.
USING HEART RATE
GRIP PULSE – To periodically check your heart rate, grab the sensors at the base of
the console. The PULSE LED will flash and after about 9 seconds your pulse will
be shown in the pulse window.
HEART RATE CHEST STRAP – Using your chest strap, you can monitor your
heart rate at any time during your workout. The heart rate strap will send your
heart rate to the display and your pulse will be displayed.
CUSTOM PROGRAMS
1. Turn on POWER
2. Press one of the CUSTOM keys ~ Display will show LBS
3. Adjust your weight with the keys.
4. Press ENTER ~ Display will show SE01 (Segment #1)
5. Adjust the speed of this segment with the keys.
6. Adjust the incline of this segment with the keys.
7. Press ENTER ~ Display will show SE02 (Segment #2)
8. ETC.
9. Press START
You will have to program 50 segments with your custom information.
