Operations & Maintenance Manual: Using the Instrument

MANAGING SCAN RESULTS

PROCEDURE 1.  ADD A PATIENT ID NUMBER (OPTIONAL)

A patient ID number (maximum 10 digits) can be added to the scan result and will be included on the printout. 

You may access the Patient ID Number screen from the Scan Results screen. The Patient ID Number screen 

displays 0000000000.

Note: Only press the button marked 

#

 when a patient ID number is required. If the # button is used and no 

patient ID number is entered, the instrument assumes a patient ID number was entered, and 0000000000 will 

be included on the printout.

1.  Using the left 

 and right 

 buttons, select the digit you want to change (the selected digit is underlined).

2.  Using the plus

 or minus 

 buttons, increase or decrease the value in order to select the correct digit.

3.  Repeat Step 1 through Step 2 until you have entered the complete patient ID number.

4. 

When you have finished entering the patient ID number, press the 

DONE

 button.

The instrument returns to the Scan Result screen, and the patient ID number you entered will now be 

included on the printout of the scan.
