Turn on mute and speakerphone
While on a call, tap the Mute icon or the
Speaker icon.
To turn off, tap Mute or Speaker again.
TRANSFER INFORmATION TO
YOUR SmARTPhONE
You can transfer your contacts, pictures, and
other info to your new BlackBerry smartphone
from your old device. You might be able to
back up your information on a media card,
or use BlackBerry Link on your computer.
You can download BlackBerry Link from
www.blackberry.com/startlink .
1. On the Home screen, tap Setup >
Device Switch .
2. Complete the instructions on screen.

don’t see the symbol you want, touch and hold
a related symbol. Slide your finger onto the
symbol you want to type or tap to see all
the remaining symbols.
CALL FUNCTIONS
Make, answer & end calls
To open the Phone app, tap at the bottom
of the Home screen, or tap the icon on the
apps screen .
To make a call, tap , dial a number and
tap Call .
To answer a call, touch and hold the name or
phone number when it appears on the screen
and drag it to the bottom of the screen.
To end a call, touch and hold the name or phone
number and drag it to the top of the screen.
