You can personalize your typing experience
by changing other input, keyboard, or typing
settings (such as spell checking and custom
text shortcuts).
1. On the home screen, swipe down from the
top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings > Language and Input.
Typing tips
Uppercase characters: Tap and tap a
letter. To turn on CAP lock, touch and hold .
Accented characters: Touch and hold the
letter that you want to add the accent to,
slide your finger onto the accented character
that appears, then lift your finger. To type an
uppercase accented character, tap first.
Numbers and symbols: On the lower-left
side of the keyboard, tap the Symbol key.
