Using a modeling knife, carefully remove the film
covering from the tail slots at the rear of the fuselage.
Make sure that you do not remove any wood from the
slots as this will affect the alignment of the tail.
INSTALLING HORIZONTAL STABILIZER
Draw a center line

Then put the horizontal into the fuselage. Check
the fit of the horizontal stabilizer in its slot.

Check the fit of the horizontal stabilizer in its slot.
Make sure the horizontal stabilizer is square and
centered to the fuselage by taking measurements.

Draw a center line onto the horizontal stabilizer
Top side.

With the horizontal stabilizer correctly aligned.
Apply a thin CA layer to the top and bottom of the
stabilizer in the fuselage.
7)
Hinges for elevators are glued the same way as
the aileron before (see page 8).
