Assembly

Warning!

 Before assembly, make sure that the tool is 

switched off and the battery is removed.

Fitting sanding mesh (Fig. E)

u

Hold the tool with the sanding base facing upwards.

u

Place the sanding mesh (7) onto the sanding base, mak-

ing sure that the holes in the sheet line up with the holes 

in the base.

Fitting sanding sheets (Fig. F - Optional accessory)

u

Detach the two additional diamond-shaped tips (9) from 

the sanding sheet (8).

The diamond-shaped tip (9) can be reversed and replaced 

when worn.

u

When the front part of the tip (9) is worn, detach it from the 

sheet, reverse it and press it onto the sanding base again.

u

When the whole tip is worn, remove it from the sanding 

base and fit a new tip

For optimal dust collection, ensure the correct type of sanding 

paper is used.

Finger attachment (Fig. G)

The finger attachment is used for fine detail sandin

u

Remove the screw (11).

u

Remove the diamond-shaped tip (10) from the sanding 

base.

u

Fit the finger attachment (4) onto the sanding base

u

Fit and tighten the screw (11).

u

Fit the appropriate sanding sheet onto the finger attac -

ment.

Replacing diamomnd shaped tip (Fig. G1)

Replace the diamond shaped tip (10).

u

Replace and tighten screw (11).

Fitting and removing the dust cassette (Fig. H)

u

Slide the dust cassette (2) onto the connector (2a) and 

make sure that it is securely located.

u

To remove the dust casette, pull it to the rear and away 

from the rear end of the tool.

Warning!

 Let the tool work at its own pace. Do not overload.

Switching on and off 

u

To switch the tool on, depress the on/off switch (1) at the 

forward position I.

u

To switch the tool off, depress the on/off switch (1) at the 

back position O.

Maintenance

Your tool has been designed to operate over a long period of 

time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory 

operation depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.

Warning!

 Before performing any maintenance, switch off and 

unplug the tool or remove the battery pack.

u

Regularly clean the ventilation slots in your tool using a 

soft brush or dry cloth.

u

Regularly clean the motor housing using a damp cloth. Do 

not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.

Protecting the environment

Separate collection. Products and batteries 

marked with this symbol must not be disposed of 

with normal household waste.

Products and batteries contain materials that can be recov-

ered or recycled reducing the demand for raw materials.

Please recycle electrical products and batteries according to
