CAUTION!
When the device to which a SHM-NPR is attached is
powered down, that SHM-NPR also loses power and
can no longer send any signals to the remote SHM-
NPR. In this condition, the idled cable between the
units becomes susceptible to receiving noise. If it
does, and the device to which the remote SHM-NPR
is attached is still powered ON, the remote SHM-
NPR might output spurious (“garbage”) data.
