3. Installing the Converter

3.1 Installing Instruction

CAUTION

Wear a grounding device to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge.

Be sure that the power switch is OFF before you connect the power
cord to the power source.

Connect the PSE media converter to an AC power source.

Install the TP media cable to the IEEE 802.3af PD device. (See Figure 3-1)

NOTE

This converter can work as a pure converter that connects to the
non-PoE converter.

Install the media cable for network connection.
