OUNTER
The MIB Counter screen shows information about the RX, TX, and diagnostic counters. To get to this screen,
press the
2
key in the Status menu (Figure 4-8). Figure 4-11 appears.

The screen displays the Tx counter packets, Rx counter packets, and Drop counter packets for each port.
To scroll through the page, press the
1
key for PageUp or the
2
key for PageDown. To return to the previous
screen, press the
0
key. To refresh the screen, press the
F
key. To clear all counters, press the
C
key. To start
polling, press the
P
key, or press the
X
key to stop polling. Toggle between Drop, CRC, and Collision by
pressing the
T
key. To display either byte counter (not shown) or packet counter (shown in Figure 4-11)
information, toggle between Byte and Packet Unit by pressing the
B
key. The byte counter shows the number of
each port’s sent and received bytes. The packet count shows the number of each port’s sent and received
packets.
