3.5 Typical Applications

Three sample setups are shown in Figures 3-5 through 3-7. 

In Figure 3-5, the switch is connected to Gigabit Ethernet devices or segments via auto MDI-X. It also uses the
two fiber module slots for LC fiber connections.
