3.1 Setting the 4-Position DIP Switch

If the TX or RX fiberoptic cable
(Link Alert)
is not connected properly or is
defective, the Link LED will blink
when switch-position 2 is ON
(DOWN).
When position 2 is OFF (UP), the
Link Alert is disabled.
