3. INSTALLATION

Once the LB532A-L or LB532A-R is properly configured, it is ready to connect to the
line interface and to the power source. This section explains how to make
these connections.

3.1 CONNECTING THE INTERFACE

The LB532A-L and LB532A-R support communication between two DTE devices
using 24 AWG (0.5 mm) wire up to:

• 18,000 feet (3.4 miles or 5.48 km) at 192 kbps per hop
