Reference
These tables describe the circumstances under which each alarm is raised or lowered. Where appropriate, guidance
notes provide further explanation and advice.
Software:
Alarm Name
Description
Schedule Not Normal
Raised when the player is playing something other than its regular schedule after the period you
specify.
Lowered when the player begins playing its regular schedule
Guidance notes: The circumstances under which this alarm might be raised include:
The player has been told to audition or preview
The player has been told to use a Schedule Override
You can change the waiting period by using the
Override Default Alarm Settings option
on the
organization

Report Overdue
Raised if it has been longer than the period you specify since the player last reported (if within
operating hours).
Lowered when the player reports.
Guidance notes: To prevent this firing too often, specify a period that allows for momentary issues (for
example, make the period at least twice as long as the reporting period itself).
Software Version
Raised when the player reports a software version that does not match the one you specify.
Lowered when the player reports a software version that matches the one you specify.
Remote Setup Update
Late
Raised when the player has not applied remote setup changes within the period you specify.
Lowered when the player has applied the remote setup changes.
Data Disk Free Space
Raised when the free space on the player data disk is less than the limit you specify.
Lowered when the free space on the player data disk is greater than the limit you specify.
Guidance notes: Possible causes for large amounts of data disk space being taken include:
Large log files
Large media files (for example, when downloading new media both the old and the new files may
need to be stored simultaneously)
System Disk Free
Space
Raised when the free space on the player system disk is less than the limit you specify.
Lowered when the free space on the player system disk is greater than the limit you specify.
Guidance notes: A possible cause for large amounts of system disk space being taken are large log
files.
