NOTE
The PCLinq2 Unicode mode is
available only under Windows 2000
and XP. The PCLinq2 ANSI program
is available for all Windows OS
versions.

Check the dual-state Status LED on the
bottom right of the program dialog
box to see if it is ready or not (see
Figure 4-1). Green signifies a ready
status; red means not ready or not
found. Make sure that the program
shows two green LEDs to indicate a
linked connection.
