6. Manual Installation
If Windows does not detect the USB Adapter, follow
these instructions to manually install the proper drivers.
1. Select
Start
,
Setting
,
Control Panel
, and then
double-click
Add New Hardware
.
2. Windows will prompt you to close any open
applications before proceeding. Click
Next
to
continue. See Figure 6-1.

This wizard installs the software for a new hardware
device.
Cancel
Before continuing, close any open programs.
To begin installing the software for your new device, click
Next.
