Terminology
1-pps pilot:
Second type signal obtained by dividing the frequency of the clock
internal pilot.
Holdover:
In the event of a loss of input reference, the clock maintains the
generation of the data and frequency time signals, based on its internal
pilot.
Pilot frequency:
Frequency signal delivered by the internal frequency pilot.
Time keeper:
Set of functions providing the generation of time of day information,
sequenced on the basis of the signal output by an oscillator the
frequency characteristics of which provide a representation of the time
circuit to be maintained.
Input reference:
Time frequency source to which the clock slaves its internal pilot and
the phases of the signals it distributes. This reference consists of the
reception of GPS signals.
Day of year:
Number describing the number of the day in the year.
